Hello, I’m Emily
I am graphic designer based in the Philadelphia area with a B.S. in Visual Communications: Art & Graphic Design from Farmingdale State College, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Through hands-on roles at Minuteman Press and Universal Phoenix Group LLC, I learned how to take a project from concept to completion, including prepress production and print-ready files, short-form video editing, and digital branding using the Adobe Creative Suite. I'm currently a Visual Content Designer at Abuse Refuge Org, where I design weekly branded infographics and communications materials. My coursework gave me a strong foundation in branding identity, typography, layout, and color theory, which I've since carried into packaging design, advertising, and UI/UX work, including wireframing and responsive design. I've applied these principles across both my personal and professional work, from senior capstone projects to client and class assignments alike.
When I'm not designing, I love exploring new places with my husband and friends, getting creative with anything art related, and adding to my pin collection, a little archive of places I've traveled and things I love.
I'm currently looking for my first full-time design role and would love to hear about any opportunities that might be a good fit.
